My wife and I were driving the lake Coeur D'Alene scenic byway and stopped in here for lunch. This is a small burger joint that looks like it has been there for many decades, a classic look and feel. We were greeted by a nice young lady as soon as we entered. We both had a bacon cheeseburger, that included lettuce, tomato and mayo; an order of fries with secret sauce, and a soft drink. The bun was fresh and soft, the bacon was right off the grill hot, the cheese melting on the thin meat patty, the lettuce and tomato fresh. The sandwich was a little on the juicy side, overall very tasty. The crinkle cut fries were out of the freezer, but cooked just right, lightly crisp on the outside and soft on the inside, the fry sauce was standard.

Loved this place when it was Junction Drive-In, bummed that it changed ownership. Sadly, the quality has gone down. Junction had excellent burgers and I loved the actual drive-in aspect.
Now that it is Burger Express, it is just okay. They serve cheeseburgers, fries, and shakes. I mean, how bad can you make a cheeseburger? They taste good no matter what. That being said, these burgers are pretty average. Fries are good but not great (didn't get very many too). I thought it was too spendy as well.
It is a fun place to go in the summer or when passing through, but it is nothing special. Wish it was still the Junction :/ -

I always get the longhorn burger. I think it's delicious. But it's a burger joint that costs 40.00 for a family of three. Little spendy in my opinion. Last time we ordered two longhorn meals, a shake, and a corn dog meal and our total was right around 40.00.

Unimpressive at best... burger patties were thin and rubbery and had a very strange flavor. Fries were ok. Pop was good.

This place used to be Junction drive in and was recently bought by Burger Express. I was happy to see that they re-did the drive-through and took out the old drive-in poles and made the parking lot bigger. With that, I was hoping the inside would have been fixed up and cleaned. We visited yesterday, and yeah...it was still nasty.
The floors had been mopped with dirty water. The baseboards were dirty and caked with grease. My arms stuck to the table it was so gross and greasy. They really need to bleach bomb that place and disinfect it. I've had diarrhea since I ate there!
I guess Burger Express isn't paying the old employees enough to give a hoot. That's ok, I won't ever visit again. Such a shame. Junction used to have great burgers and now...the food is cheap and overpriced.
